Our Ministries

Trinity Lutheran Church is involved in several ministries that involve both the church and the surrounding community. If anyone is interested in participating in these ventures, please contact the church office.

Food Pantry

Trinity operates a food pantry that serves the people in need of Hamlin County. The pantry is open every Monday from 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm CST. 

In accordance with Federal Law and the U.S. Department of Agriculture policy, this institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability.

Christian Education

The Christian Education Committee is responsible for several events throughout the year. 

  • Vacation Bible School   Dates/Times set by committee   Classes for 4-year-olds - 5th Grade

  • Sunday School   9:30 a.m.   September - May 

  • Christmas Program in Decembe

Confirmation

Confirmation classes are open to children in 6th - 8th grade. Classes begin in the fall and end in May. Each month is alternated between Badger and Trinity.

Women's Ministry

All women of Trinity Lutheran Church are invited and welcome to participate in the activities of this organization. 

General Meetings are held every other month on the first Wednesday of the month at 5:00 p.m.

Some of the special projects of Trinity Church Women include: 

  • Serving for various functions, including funerals

  • Fellowship Dinners every 3rd Sunday of the month

  • Lenten Soup Suppers when Wednesday services are held at Trinity

  • Spring/Fall Cleaning

  • Serving a pork barbeque every year on July 3rd

  • Working with Evangelism group for Harvest Festival

  • Providing Shut-ins with Poinsettias

  • Christmas Baking in the Church basement in December

  • Hosting an Angel Tree and Christmas Party at the Lake Norden Nursing Home

  • Special mission projects as decided by the group
